As Operations Manager of Research, Marty works with all divisions of research located within the Rothman Institute. He plays a key role in the day-to-day management of research business activities, with focus on budget & contract negotiations, financial resource allocation, and grants administration. Prior to joining the Rothman Institute, Marty was employed by a public governmental agency that included leadership roles in the business and purchasing sectors. Marty has a Bachelor of Arts from Salisbury State University.

Nancy assists the research fellows with obtaining their data for their projects by obtaining charts and x-rays on the subjects in the project. She is also responsible for both pre-operative and post-operative survey information being input into a database used in various projects for the Joint and Sport Departments.

Then went on to post-graduate training completing his internship at Shiraz Medical University, Shiraz, Iran October 1999, and residency at Shariati Hospital, Tehran Medical University, Tehran, Iran in September of 2005. Currently Dr. Jafari is a part of the Joint Research Fellowship at Rothman Institute.

Michael received his undergraduate degree from Yale University in 2008. As a Junior Research Fellow at the Rothman Institute, he works primarily in Shoulder & Elbow and Joints (Hip and Knee). He helps coordinate ongoing clinical trials as well as engaging in prospective and retrospective research on outcomes for common orthopaedic injuries.
