Dr. Pepe is Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He specializes in sports medicine, shoulder, and knee surgery.
He graduated with honors from Boston College with a B.S. in biology and received his Doctorate of Medicine from Georgetown University. Dr. Pepe then served as a resident in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. During this time he spent one year studying shoulder reconstruction in the McKay Laboratory and two months in Switzerland as a visiting shoulder fellow. He then went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the University of Pittsburgh under the direction of Drs. Freddie Fu and Christopher Harner.
Dr. Pepe has produced an extensive bibliography of original papers, textbook chapters, and abstracts and has presented at both national and international meetings.
Dr. Pepe sees patients at the Rothman Institute's Egg Harbor Township, Manahawkin, and Voorhees, NJ locations. Patients of Dr. Pepe will also have interaction with his Physician Assistant Ralph Bagnato.
