Dr. Mehallo is a non-surgical sports medicine physician.  He serves as a consultant to several Delaware County high schools and is the sports medicine physician for Cheyney University, Neumann College, and Penn State Delaware County.  

Dr. Mehallo is currently on the editorial board for the Osteopathic Family Physician News for sports medicine topics, is chairman of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine Research and Publication committee, and actively reviews articles for the Clinical Journal of Sport Medicine.

Dr. Mehallo graduated from Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA, receiving a B.S. in Biology.  He later received his Doctor of Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed his Osteopathic Rotating internship and Family Medicine residency at Meridia South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland, OH.  He then completed his Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Horizon Orthopedic/Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland, OH. 

He sees patients at the Rothman Institute’s Center City Philadelphia and Media, PA offices.
