Steven M.  Raikin, M.D.

Steven M. Raikin, M.D.

Dr. Raikin is the Director of Foot and Ankle services and Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He specializes in the treatment of elective and traumatic disorders of the foot and ankle.  He has performed more ankle replacement procedures in the region than any other surgeon. 

Dr. Raikin graduated from the University of Witwatersrand Medical School in South Africa. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Centre in Cleveland, OH He completed fellowships in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery at the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD under the direction of Dr. Marc S. Myerson and Dr. Lew C. Schon, and at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre at Oxford University in England. 

Dr. Raikin's research work has been published and presented in numerous prestigious orthopaedic journals and at national and international orthopaedic meetings.

Dr. Raikin sees patients at the Rothman Institute's Center City and Voorhees, NJ locations.
