William V. Arnold M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Arnold is a board certified hip and knee surgeon. He specializes in adult joint reconstruction procedures.
Dr. Arnold completed his residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital during which time he received The Philip Syng Physick Award for outstanding research. He earned his medical and doctoral degrees from Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Graduate Studies and Jefferson Medical College, graduating cum laude. During this time, Dr. Arnold received the Everett J. Gordon Prize in Orthopaedic Surgery and the Ralph Heimer Award for achievement of excellence in graduate studies in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr. Arnold completed his undergraduate education at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Dr. Arnold is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honor society.
Dr. Arnold sees patients at the Rothman Institute’s Northeast Philadelphia office.
