Nicholas R. Taweel, D.P.M., P.T.
Dr. Taweel has clinical experience in both podiatric medicine and orthopaedic physical therapy. His interests include rehabilitation of the foot and ankle, sports medicine, fracture care, orthotics, diabetic foot care, occupational medicine, and lower extremity skin and nail disorders.
Dr. Taweel received his doctorate degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in 1991. He also received a Masters in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Temple University. He is board certified and re-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine, and is also an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Dr. Taweel lectures extensively and is published, holding active faculty appointments at Columbia, Arcadia, Drexel, and Widener Universities.
He sees patients at the Rothman Institute’s Center City, Northeast, South Philadelphia, and King of Prussia, PA locations.
