Dr. Frederick is a Sports Medicine specialist. He is a team physician for the Philadelphia Phillies and the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Team.
Dr. Frederick received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago and obtained his orthopaedic residency training at the University Hospitals of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University. Following his residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Frederick has held numerous other professional appointments in sports medicine and has provided medical and orthopaedic care at major athletic events in the Atlanta area. During the 1996 summer Olympic games in Atlanta, he served as Director of Athlete Care for Gymnastics and presently remains an orthopaedic consultant for the U.S. Women's Gymnastics Team.
He is board certified and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Frederick has published and presented numerous times on his research.
Dr. Frederick sees patients at the Rothman Institute's Center City Philadelphia, Northeast Philadelphia, Media, and King of Prussia, PA locations.
