Ralph Bagnato, PA-C
– Ralph Bagnato is a Certified Physician Assistant and graduated from the Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program at
Drexel University in 2002. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Athletic Training from Salisbury State University. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Ralph worked as head athletic trainer at Pleasantville High School. Ralph joined the Rothman Institute in October of 2003 and works with Dr. Matthew Pepe specializing in surgical sports medicine. Ralph sees patients in the Egg Harbor Township and Voorhees offices.



Lisa Campenella, PA-C
– Lisa Campenella is a Certified Physician Assistant and graduated from the Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program at
Drexel University in 2004. She also received a Master of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Florida as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Slippery Rock University. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Lisa worked as a certified athletic trainer at the University of Pennsylvania before joining the Rothman Institute in 2002 as an orthopedic research assistant. Lisa now works as a physician assistant with Dr. James Purtill specializing in joint replacement surgery. Lisa sees patients in the Center City and Voorhees offices.



Kyle Deuter, PA-C
– Kyle Deuter is a Certified Physician Assistant and graduated from the Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program at
Drexel University in 2001. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in Biology. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Kyle taught science to seventh and eighth graders in Atlantic County. Since then, he has worked in various orthopedic practices in Southern New Jersey before joining the Rothman Institute in July 2006. Kyle works with Dr. Fabio Orozco specializing in joint replacement surgery. Kyle sees patients in the Egg Harbor Township and Manahawkin offices.


Jason Gajdzis, PA-C – Jason Gajdzis is a Certified Physician Assistant and graduated from the UMDNJ Physician Assistant Program at Seton Hall University in 2001. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hall University in Biology.  Jason has worked at various orthopedic practices in Atlantic County before joining the Rothman Institute in October 2007. Jason works with Dr. Ravi Ponnappan specializing in orthopedic surgery of the spine. He also works closely with orthopedic spine surgeon Dr. Alan Hilibrand. Jason sees patients in the Egg Harbor Township and Voorhees offices.



Thomas Geary, PA-C
– Thomas Geary is a Certified Physician Assistant and graduated from the Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program at
Drexel University in 2003. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Exercise Science as well as a Master of Arts in Education from Rowan University. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Thomas worked as a certified athletic trainer in Gloucester and Camden counties. Thomas joined the Rothman Institute in March 2005 and works work with Dr. Bradford Tucker specializing in surgical sports medicine. Thomas sees patients in the Egg Harbor Township and Manahawkin offices.

Natalie Hirsch, PA-C – Natalie is a Certified Physician Assistant and graduated from the Physician Assistant program at DeSales University in 2005. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Natalie worked as a pharmaceutical technician where she studied immune responses and bacterial resistance to antibiotics. Natalie joined the Rothman Institute in May 2007 and works with Dr. Alexander Vaccaro specializing in orthopedic surgery of the spine. Natalie sees patients in the Center City office.


Natisha Oponik, PA-C – Natisha is a Certified Physician Assistant and graduated from the Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program at Drexel University in 2002. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Natisha worked at the Rothman Institute in various clinical and clerical capacities before joining the physician assistant team in August 2003. Natisha works with Dr. Todd Albert specializing in orthopedic surgery of the spine and sees patients in the Center City office.



Robert Raspa, PA-C
– Robert is a Certified Physician Assistant and graduated from the Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program at
Drexel University in 2001. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Temple University. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Robert worked as an occupational therapist at various outpatient rehabilitation facilities in Atlantic County.  Robert also worked as a physician assistant in Southern New Jersey before joining the Rothman Institute in May 2003.  Robert is the Director of the Physician Assistant Service at the Rothman Institute in New Jersey and works with Dr. Alvin Ong specializing in joint replacement surgery. Robert sees patients in the Egg Harbor Township office.


Kevin Shelby, PA-C
 – Kevin Shelby is a Certified Physician Assistant who graduated from the Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program at
Drexel University in 2005. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Florida State University in 2001. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Kevin worked as a certified athletic trainer at the collegiate level. Kevin joined the Rothman Institute in May of 2007 and works with Dr. David Greg Anderson who specializes in orthopaedic spine surgery. Kevin sees patients in the Northeast Philadelphia, Media, and King of Prussia, PA locations. He also works closely with Dr. Jeremy Simon who is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at the Northeast Philadelphia office.
