I had a bilateral knee replacement in February 2013 after seeing numerous doctors who suggested I wait until I was 60 (I was 53 at the time) and have each knee done 9 months apart. I knew I could not wait any longer and that I wanted both knees done at the same time. Dr. Orozco believed I was a good candidate for bilateral knee replacement. I was in hospital for 2 days, then back to the gym in one month and back to work in 6 weeks. Not a single thing I cannot do now--running, skiing, yoga, etc. I have a great bend to both knees and feel like myself again.
